The Story
SlideRoom was founded in 2006 with the belief that creative materials are an important part of the application process and they should be easy to send and review online within a private environment. Since this inception, SlideRoom has blossomed into a widely used applicant management system capable of handling media, forms and references all in one place. Throughout this growth, we continue to believe that media assets are an incredibly effective way for all kinds of applicants to demonstrate their skill.
We believe that simplicity and beauty are core qualities which should never be compromised. Every part of the SlideRoom system is designed to be intuitive, reliable and scalable. We take great pride in our work and maintain a creative approach to solving new problems. That mindset has fueled the incredible growth and success of our company and our product.
The Leadership
Chris Jagers
Founder and CEO
Christopher is the founder and strategic leader of SlideRoom. Being trained as an artist and later working as a university administrator, he saw the need for a better applicant management system. He has a passion for transforming difficult tasks into pleasurable experiences by creating beautiful tools that are fun to use.
Derek Bumpas
Co-Founder and CTO
Derek has been developing software for the web for over 13 years. He continues to manage SlideRoom development and is responsible for SlideRoom’s fast and reliable technology. He leads a team that continues to improve the system and develop new features.
Ted Wehner
Co-Founder, Architect and Lead Developer
Ted is the Chief Architect and Lead Developer for SlideRoom. He brings more than 13 years of experience in Software Design and Architecture specializing in Enterprise-scale Web Applications and Databases.
Dimi Arhontidis
Creative Director and Lead Designer
Dimi leads our efforts to keep elegant design and great usability a top priority for all our initiatives. He is deeply involved from the earliest stages of planning to the final polish of the user interface. He loves music, art and all kinds of emerging web-based media.

Derek "Paulie" Pittsinger
Lead Front-End Developer
With a heavy background in Javascript and Microsoft .net, Derek leads his team in developing next generation front-end frameworks and web applications. Derek enjoys keeping pace with the rapidly changing environment of web technologies.
Grant MacManus
Technical Support Manager
Grant has a background as an artist and teaching university classes on multimedia authoring tools. He is currently in charge of QA testing and technical support for our clients and their applicants. Additionally, Grant communicates with the development team to enhance the integration of user feedback.
